PS. I hope this gives USA the motivation to build a world-class team (you know you can). It's nice to have historic rivals playing, but it's nicer to have good football - and we're lacking in that area.
PPS. I'm afraid of the trumpets on the next match.
Not sure I enjoyed this as much as you guys seemed to have enjoyed. The more I join quick races like these, the less I like them. But that's just me.
@Ramon: well deserved! Have been sharing the track with you with some regularity since the early Gentlefoot seasons, and it's always been a pleasure.
@Janne: not sure how you do those things, but that's no ordinary RB4! Awesome driving as well.
@rest: thanks for the season, it was pretty clean! Too bad too many people left mid-season but I guess that's inevitable. Was good to take part, even though it gets quite annoying when you have to read "fail" in every two phrases...
@admins: an ok work in general (it got much better through the season), but next time think your calendar throught to avoid having to change dates. Track selection was not ideal as well, and some rules just didn't made sense in the end (like why force me to edit my skin when in the last rounds it wasn't mandatory?). I'm sure next time it'll be very good though.
Well no offense to USA but they're hardly a strong team, aren't they.
I'll agree on the 'motivating' part though, it's like they're playing because they're obligated too. So annoying.
I remember watching some practice sessions on a recent World Cup (I guess it was Korea/Japan's), with the first team playing against the reserves. It was always a tough match, but the second team was so much more fun to watch!
Can't even say that about the current team, even the reserves are crap - with a few exceptions like the forward Nilmar. He's much better than Pato imo.
Heh, probably an ultra boring game. Not following the italian games but it's generally strong defense and poor attack. And well, this brazilian team is probably the weakest of the latest years, ~5 very good players mixed with a bunch of how-the-hell-did-that-guy-end-up-here players.
There's a brazilian ship at the area searching for survivors and then anything else. Since the area is massive, this will take a while. Another four ships will arrive eventually.
Anyone has any other informations?
On a side note, Air France said it would announce the names of everyone that was on the plane today (4th June).
Didn't see any thread about this so I'm creating one just for the news and comments.
Air France's Airbus A330 on flight AF 447 (Rio de Janeiro - Paris) has disappeared from all radars shortly after leaving the brazilian northeast coast. The plane took off yesterday at 23:03GMT (I guess) and would arrive in Paris 11 hours later (11:10 Paris time).
Seems like an automatic message from the aircraft was received at 03:14GMT confirming an eletrical failure, supposely during a thunderstorm. The brazilian navy is currently searching the sea for the aircraft.
There was 216 passengers on board: 126 men, 82 women, 7 children and a baby. Air France said it has no hope in finding the plane.
So sorry to those affected in any way by this event.
