Gotta say this is most annoying crowd noise though.

Host not found, so again if you need practice you can join SRS:Race Server.

Edit: Oh well I'm with internet problems again, it's looking bad for this round.

Yup, that's the guy. Damn you, it was against my team!

Another one here.

Well no offense to USA but they're hardly a strong team, aren't they.

I'll agree on the 'motivating' part though, it's like they're playing because they're obligated too. So annoying.

I remember watching some practice sessions on a recent World Cup (I guess it was Korea/Japan's), with the first team playing against the reserves. It was always a tough match, but the second team was so much more fun to watch!

Can't even say that about the current team, even the reserves are crap - with a few exceptions like the forward Nilmar. He's much better than Pato imo.

Quote from zeugnimod :And I'm happy that it's Brazil vs. Italy on Sunday. Definately will watch that.

Heh, probably an ultra boring game. Not following the italian games but it's generally strong defense and poor attack. And well, this brazilian team is probably the weakest of the latest years, ~5 very good players mixed with a bunch of how-the-hell-did-that-guy-end-up-here players.

Good result for me, but there's still a long road ahead. Grats on the lead, Z.

After the qualify I was aiming at a top 10, considering I was much slower than anyone.

Had some luck on the sprint race and finished 6th.

Had a terrible feature race, was happy to see the checkered flag. Finished 9th.

In the meantime you can join SRS:Race Server for practice.

Bump!

Don't know if people suddenly lost interest on this or just forgot it... Anyway, Space Shuttle Endeavour will be launching in a week (June 13).

Full launching schedule is here.

There's a brazilian ship at the area searching for survivors and then anything else. Since the area is massive, this will take a while. Another four ships will arrive eventually.

Anyone has any other informations?

On a side note, Air France said it would announce the names of everyone that was on the plane today (4th June).

Quote from Joe93 :but it could be a drug trafficing plane? nobody would report that missing?

I doubt something like that could reach the same altitudes as a modern long-range airliner.

There's a little chance I can make this one. If that happens I should be on the midfield.

Oddly my TBO pb on this track is with the RB4, a slow 1:19.5.

@Booth: Before it disappeared, I mean.

Can you guys stop ruining every thread? This is getting way too annoying.

Quote from 510N3D :On topic, the question im asking myself is how the heck can a plane just disappear? I mean, last time i checked, planes are pretty expensive and for aerial transportation corresponding GPS tracking devices aren't, at least comparatively to eachother.

Same here. I know next to nothing about those systems, but surely there has to be some data concerning speed, heading, altitude on the radars?

Are you guys surprised in any way?
Flight AF 447 "disappears"

Didn't see any thread about this so I'm creating one just for the news and comments.

Air France's Airbus A330 on flight AF 447 (Rio de Janeiro - Paris) has disappeared from all radars shortly after leaving the brazilian northeast coast. The plane took off yesterday at 23:03GMT (I guess) and would arrive in Paris 11 hours later (11:10 Paris time).

Seems like an automatic message from the aircraft was received at 03:14GMT confirming an eletrical failure, supposely during a thunderstorm. The brazilian navy is currently searching the sea for the aircraft.

There was 216 passengers on board: 126 men, 82 women, 7 children and a baby. Air France said it has no hope in finding the plane.

So sorry to those affected in any way by this event.

Watched Go for the second time last night (had watched it back in 2000 or something). Hilarious!

Next one will probably be Mr. Brooks, wich I watched a couple of years ago and really liked.

Dry or wet, I'm willing to bet it's going to be an interesting race.

I guess those who have the damned KERS will use it, might prove useful for drafting in the tunnel (but beware that bump when leaving it, Kimi) and gaining some time on the Casino uphill, even if it has a negative impact on balance. Never thought I'd say that but on this race KERS should pepper (sorry Yann ) things a bit this time.

I might be talking rubbish though. But the qualify will be awesome!
